Rising U.S. Treasury yields have lifted corporate-bond yields, creating an appealing environment for high-grade investment-grade bonds. According to Sina Finance, fixed-income specialists say this may be one of the best opportunities in years to buy corporate debt; the 10-year Treasury yield remains near 5% ahead of Wednesday’s Federal Reserve rate decision.

Large cloud companies including Alphabet, Amazon, Meta, and Microsoft have issued debt to fund AI investments. Experts say their debt levels have grown but are not necessarily high-risk, while investors have raised concerns about CoreWeave’s borrowing and Oracle’s credit rating, which was cut to the lowest investment-grade tier. In 2025, cloud providers issued $93 billion for AI and other capital spending, compared with an annual average of about $35 billion in 2020–2024.

Meta’s free cash flow turned negative last quarter for the first time since its 2012 IPO. This week, the company announced plans to raise up to $95 billion through multiple share offerings to fund AI investment. Experts also emphasize selective buying and diversification: BBB-rated investment-grade bonds yield more than 6%, while they caution that lower-rated junk bonds can be more volatile than higher-quality corporate debt.
