• XRP has broken below the range support twice, but buyers have to protect the recent lows to form a meaningful recovery.

  • The $1.42 midpoint remains the initial upside target, with the range high next if buyers reclaim resistance and hold their gains.

  • Repeated liquidity sweeps have put XRP's lower trading boundary under pressure, leaving bullish confirmation essential before a recovery can develop.

XRP liquidity sweeps have drawn attention to range support after two failed breakdowns, while traders watch $1.42 for signs of a stronger recovery.

Two Sweeps Leave XRP at a Crucial Support Level

Alex Marzell noted that XRP had swept liquidity beneath its trading range twice. The trader raised the possibility of a reversal but stressed the need for bullish confirmation. The repeated dips have drawn attention to whether buyers can defend the lower boundary.

The broader chart shows a decline from earlier highs, with rallies losing strength. Lower highs and lower lows have kept downward pressure on the market. Yet both dips beneath support were followed by price reactions, suggesting buyers remain active.

A liquidity sweep occurs when price crosses a visible level where orders have gathered. Those orders can contain traders' stop-losses below support. A rapid pullback above the level may be a refusal, but it doesn't mean it was a bottom.

The important thing is not so much the number of sweeps as the next move. Trade above the recent bottoms would provide some purchase strength. Another drop beneath support would weaken that case and extend the decline.

Why $1.42 Matters to the Recovery Attempt

The first target Marzell chose was the midpoint of the range, which was $1.42. XRP needs to get above the current levels and above the resistance to reach it. Buyers would need to sustain the advance rather than produce another brief bounce.

The price chart places XRP near $1.28 after a sharp intraday decline. Price fell toward $1.27 before recovering, but it remains below the earlier high. This leaves the market needing further gains before the proposed target comes into reach.

The midpoint offers a clear test of whether buyers can reclaim lost ground. A move above $1.42, followed by continued trading above it, would strengthen the bullish case. Without that follow-through, the level could become another point where sellers regain control.

A rejection near the midpoint could send XRP back toward the swept lows. That would put the lower boundary under pressure for another time. Traders would then need to assess whether buyers could defend the same area again.

Range High Depends on Buyers Holding Their Ground

Marzell's next objective is the range high, provided XRP reaches the midpoint and keeps rising. The upper boundary would become relevant only after price clears the intervening resistance. Until then, the $1.42 target remains the nearer test.

The recent price reaction offers some evidence of demand near the session low. However, the rebound has not erased the losses recorded earlier. XRP must regain higher levels before the move can be treated as more than a short-lived bounce.

Candle behaviour may help show whether buying pressure is improving. Consistent gains followed by minor losses could indicate a trend of buying. If the sales pressure is ongoing into rejections and new lows then there is more selling to come.

Trading volume can add context to those price movements. Rising volume during an advance would support the case for stronger participation. A climb on weak volume would offer less evidence that buyers can sustain the move.

For now, two liquidity sweeps have placed support under close watch, not confirmed a reversal. XRP must confirm the recent price lows and break the resistance level to start to look favourable. A continued decline to $1.42 would make the range high very close, and any further decline would negate the recovery move.
