What NOT to Do in Trading

Most traders do not fail because they know too little. They fail because they keep doing a few costly things, again and again. Avoid these, and you are already ahead of most beginners.

❌ DON'T do this:
• Don't buy just because a coin is pumping and everyone is excited — that FOMO buy is often the top.
• Don't panic sell the moment price dips. A normal dip is not always a reason to exit a good plan.
• Don't trade to recover a loss quickly. Revenge trading after a loss usually makes the loss bigger.
• Don't use leverage you cannot afford to lose, and don't risk a big part of your capital on one trade.

✅ DO this instead:
• Trade only with a plan — entry, stop-loss and target decided before you enter.
• Risk only a small part of your capital on one trade.
• Wait for your setup. Taking no trade is better than taking a bad trade.

One common mistake, explained simply: panic selling. When price drops suddenly, fear tells you to sell right away, even though your plan said to hold unless a real invalidation level breaks. Selling in panic often means selling at the worst price, just before the market calms down. Check your plan first: if the invalidation level is not broken, fear alone is not a reason to sell.

Remember: success does not come in one day. It comes from discipline, patience, risk management and learning every day.
