Binance gives crypto traders a practical answer to the market-hours problem: bStocks can trade on Binance Spot around the clock, while the underlying US stock market follows its own session. That means a trader can react to a company headline at night or on a weekend by trading the tokenized exposure. It does not mean the US exchange has reopened, or that every stock-related action can settle instantly.

India has its own daytime market, the US has its own trading session, and crypto keeps running through both. If you trade only traditional shares, a closed exchange means waiting for the next session. In crypto, the order book does not close for the night. Binance's bStocks brings that always-on format to select US equity exposure, with clear limits around what the token represents and who can use each route.

THE HOURS GAP

Indian cash equities trade in local market sessions. US-listed shares trade on US exchange sessions, which fall at night for many people in India. There are also weekends and exchange holidays. Outside a stock session, a normal stock order may wait until the market opens. Crypto spot markets remain active 24/7, including weekends.

That difference matters when news lands after the US close. A trader may want to change exposure before the next US session, or simply use a crypto balance without moving into a traditional brokerage workflow. Binance has built two relevant routes: direct US stock trading for eligible users, and bStocks, a tokenized product that can be traded on Binance Spot 24/7.

The distinction is the key. Direct stock orders use a brokerage rail and market trading hours. bStocks trade as crypto assets on a crypto venue. Their price can move while the underlying exchange is closed, as participants react to new information and liquidity changes. An always-open market gives more control over timing. It does not guarantee a better price or remove market risk.

WHAT B STOCKS ARE

Binance announced bStocks in June 2026. They are certificates over select US stocks and ETFs, issued by BTech Holdings Limited, a Binance group affiliate, and represented as BEP-20 tokens on BNB Chain. Each token is backed 1:1 by a corresponding underlying share held with a regulated custodian. The issuer's prospectuses received approval from the ADGM Financial Services Regulatory Authority, and a Proof of Collateral page is provided to check backing.

That backing is useful, but it does not make a token the same thing as holding a share in a brokerage account. bStocks represent rights tied to the underlying securities; they do not give the holder shareholder voting rights. Stock splits and dividend-related adjustments are processed automatically. This is exposure through a tokenized certificate, not a claim that every holder is on the company's shareholder register.

The first listings were Circle, Micron, NVIDIA, Sandisk and Tesla, traded against USDT. Binance's BNB Chain blog listed 15 supported bStocks by July 2, including AMD, Intel, Meta, Microsoft, Palantir, Strategy, QQQ and an ETF tracking South Korea. Listings can change, so check the live product page before placing an order.

HOW THE PRODUCT WORKS

A user can buy a bStock on Binance Spot with USDT and trade it like a spot asset. The product can also be withdrawn as a BEP-20 token to a compatible BNB Chain wallet. Binance describes options for using supported assets in DeFi applications, including lending and liquidity pools. Anyone using those routes should understand the separate mechanics of the wallet, network and application involved.

The token market stays open 24/7. BNB Chain settlement is described as near-instant, and conversions between supported underlying equities and bStocks are offered at a 1:1 ratio with zero conversion fees. Conversion back into a direct stock position settles during regular market hours. That distinction is practical: a token transfer can happen while the US market is shut, while delivery of the direct stock follows the brokerage market timetable.

Binance also offers direct US stock trading through a broker-dealer route for eligible non-US users. The product material describes access to a broad set of US-listed stocks and ETFs. The fee schedule specified for this route is a 0.35 USD platform fee on an order below 350 USD, and a 0.1 percent spread above 350 USD. Treat those as product costs to check at order preview, alongside any displayed price and conversion details. These terms are separate from bStocks trading and conversion fees.

WHAT AN INDIA RESIDENT CAN VERIFY

The important practical point for India is eligibility. The bStocks material says eligible users outside the US can trade, but the supplied product sources do not specifically confirm that an India resident is eligible. They also do not confirm that the direct US stock brokerage route is available to residents of India. Do not read a general non-US eligibility statement as India-specific approval. Check the Binance app's Stocks section and its eligibility screen for the account's country before planning around either route.

What is verifiable for an India-based account is Binance P2P for INR crypto buying. The live Binance INR book on October 28, 2026 showed USDT ads from 103.00 to 105.10 INR, with a median of 104.99 INR. That is a snapshot of visible offers, not a fixed conversion rate. Digital eRupee appeared on 31 of 50 listings, UPI on 17, IMPS on 9 and Bank Transfer India on 6. Paytm appeared on 2, Google Pay on 4 and PhonePe on 3. Binance charges no platform fee on P2P according to the live data file; each seller sets an offer price, so the price itself matters.

P2P is a user-to-user purchase, not a direct INR deposit into Binance verified through the supplied sources. Binance holds the seller's crypto in escrow while the buyer pays the seller through the selected method; after payment confirmation the crypto is released. KYC is required. For Indian traders, this can be the route to acquire USDT for spot crypto trading, but it does not by itself establish access to bStocks or direct US shares.

OTHER TOKENIZED STOCK PRODUCTS

Other platforms have also introduced tokenized equity products. Kraken offers xStocks, including trading on its venue and on-chain transfer options. Bybit supports xStocks on Spot. Bitget has listed xStocks and Ondo assets through its Onchain product. Ondo offers tokenized US stocks and ETFs to non-US users. Robinhood offers stock tokens in the EU as financial derivatives. These are product descriptions, not a recommendation or a ranking; eligibility, legal form, fees and trading hours differ by service.

A SIMPLE CHECK BEFORE YOU TRADE

- Open the Binance app and confirm whether Stocks or bStocks appears for your verified account and country.

- Check the product name, ticker, order preview, fee and current trading status. Direct stocks and bStocks are different products.

- For bStocks, understand that the token market trades 24/7, but redemption into direct stock settles in market hours.

- For INR P2P, compare the live seller price, payment method, limits and merchant details. The visible book changes.

- Decide whether you want a tokenized certificate or a direct stock position before funding the order.

The useful answer is yes, select tokenized stock exposure can be traded when the underlying stock market is closed. Binance bStocks brings that option into a 24/7 spot market, with 1:1 backing and on-chain transferability. India residents should verify account eligibility in-app before treating it as available. For now, use the product screen as the final check, and keep the direct stock route, tokenized product and INR crypto on-ramp clearly separate.
