Galaxy Digital (NASDAQ: GLXY) is drawing investor attention after reporting a sharp rebound in third-quarter profitability, with shares indicated up approximately 8% in premarket trading. The company recorded $323 million in net income and $455 million in adjusted EBITDA, supported by stronger investment-related gains and improving data center performance. However, with GLXY stock facing a broader downtrend, investors will be watching whether the earnings improvement can support a sustained recovery.
Galaxy Digital Q3 Earnings Show Sharp Profitability Recovery

Adjusted earnings per share came in at $0.83. The results mark a substantial sequential improvement, although the company’s gross revenue and gains remained unchanged from the previous quarter.
The Treasury & Corporate segment was the largest contributor to adjusted gross profit, generating $419 million compared with a $42 million loss in Q2. Digital Assets contributed $71 million, while Data Centers added $79 million. The concentration of gains in Treasury & Corporate is important because investment-related performance can fluctuate, making it difficult to treat the quarterly rebound as a guaranteed recurring earnings trend.
Data Center Expansion Strengthens Galaxy’s AI Infrastructure Outlook
Galaxy’s data center business continued to expand, with adjusted gross profit increasing to $79 million from $20 million in the previous quarter. The company’s power pipeline now exceeds 5.7 gigawatts, positioning its infrastructure business to pursue growing demand for artificial intelligence and high-performance computing capacity.
Its Helios I Phase II project is fully financed and under construction. Galaxy has also pursued a $3.5 billion senior secured notes offering to fund the project, highlighting the substantial capital required to expand its infrastructure footprint.
GLXY Stock Jumps 8% in Premarket After Previous Session’s 6% Rally
Galaxy Digital (NASDAQ: GLXY) stock is extending its rally, with shares up approximately 8% in premarket trading after gaining 6.81% in the previous session. The move follows the company’s third-quarter earnings report, which showed a sharp rebound in profitability, with net income reaching $323 million and adjusted EBITDA totaling $455 million.
GLXY stock closed at $15.68 in the previous session. An additional 8% gain would put shares near $16.93, based on that closing price. The consecutive rally point to a positive market reaction to the earnings results, potentially giving the stock an opportunity to recover from its recent decline. A cross above $18 would confirm a recovery and lead GLXY stock toward $20. On the other hand, a break below $15 may resume the downtrend.
Galaxy Digital’s $200 Million Buyback Adds Another Catalyst
Galaxy’s capital-return plans provide another factor for investors to consider. On October 26, the company’s board authorized an additional $200 million share repurchase program, following the completion of its previous $200 million authorization. Galaxy had repurchased approximately 9.8 million shares year to date, according to the company’s earnings materials.
