$SOL TA: the $100 line is getting tested again and again
$SOL is around $100.28 on Binance spot this morning. It's down about 4% on the week and about 19% over 30 days.
The daily highs tell the story. Since October 21 they've gone $109.20, $107.50, $105.24, $103.13, $102.77, $102.73 and $101.15 so far today. Every bounce is weaker than the one before.
Meanwhile the floor keeps getting tapped. On the 4 hour chart SOL has dipped into the $99.5 to $100 area several times since Monday: $99.88, $99.93 and $99.46 early today. Each time it has bounced, but every retest makes a level a little weaker.
Support: $98.62, the October 24 low and the lowest price in 30 days. Below that, $95.82 to $98, where the weekly lows from early and mid September sit.
Resistance: $102.7 to $103.7 first, then $105.24 and the weekly high at $109.20.
On the ecosystem side, CoinDesk reported that the Firedancer team now asks for 1 SOL to be burned with every bug report, because AI tools have flooded security teams with spam. Its spring contest drew 809 reports and only 127 unique findings. It doesn't move price, but it says a lot about how much noise builders now have to filter.
With the Fed on Wednesday and options expiry on Friday, I'd treat a daily close under $98.62 as the signal that matters, and a push back above $103.7 as the first sign of a turn.
