$QNT is one of the few coins up on the week, and the buying looks real

Most of the market is drifting ahead of Wednesday's Fed decision. Quant isn't. On Binance spot, $QNT is around $208.8 this morning, up about 7.7% in 24 hours and about 8.4% over seven days, while $BTC is down about 2% over the same week.

What makes this move interesting is how it's happening. Coinspeaker noted that Monday's jump came with no new announcement and looked spot driven: the Binance QNT pair had traded about $27.4 million by mid afternoon, while open interest on the OKX perpetual was only around $340,000 with slightly negative funding. That points to people buying coins, not leverage chasing a squeeze.

The story underneath is still The Clearing House. On September 24 it picked Quant for its On-Chain Money Initiative, which is about tokenized bank deposits that connect to existing US payment rails. The first banks are due in Q1 2027, with live transactions targeted for Q2 2027. Circulating supply is about 14.56 million out of a 14.6 million maximum, so there's very little new supply to absorb.

Now the levels. The October 24 low at $173.56 is the line that matters most. $200 is the first support, the round number that Monday's breakout cleared. Above, $223.96 was Monday's high, and the October 8 to 10 highs at about $255 to $256.5 are the next big ceiling.

Keep the bigger picture in view too. Even after this bounce, QNT is still about 44% below its September 27 high of $373. A strong week inside a bigger drawdown is a reason to watch closely, not a reason to rush.
