📉 $BMT fell 19% on its first day here, but the real story is where the trading went

The common assumption: a coin that drops almost 20% right after a listing must be a failed debut.

The facts say something different. $BMT isn't new. Its market is about 594 days old, and it was already trading on 7 other venues. Those venues together handled roughly $4M of trading over the last 24 hours. Here, in the same 24 hours, volume is about $11.4M. That's close to three times what the rest of the market was doing, and it showed up almost immediately.

So the trading has moved. When a well-known coin becomes available on a big platform, a fresh pool of buyers and sellers arrives all at once. Some of them are holders waiting for an easier way in. Others are traders rushing to react. The price is now $0.02806, down 19.4% over the day, which is a big move, but a heavy move on heavy volume is what a repricing looks like, not a coin that nobody wants.

I can't see who is selling or why from this data, so I won't guess. What the numbers do show is that this venue became the busiest place to trade $BMT within a day.

The open question: once the listing excitement fades, does the crowd keep trading here, or does the activity drift back to where it used to live?
