I've been watching $BTC sit just above $80,000 today, around $80,700, and honestly this is the kind of tape where patience pays more than conviction. It fell from near $84,900 on October 21 to about $79,200 on October 24, then bounced back over $80,000 — but a bounce is not a reversal yet, and I don't want to pretend it is.

The levels I'm using are simple. On the upside, $81,483 is the first hurdle, then $82,418. If buyers can hold above $81,500 and clear $82,400, I think the conversation changes back toward $84,000–$85,000, where sellers took control last week. On the downside, $80,117 is the near support, with $78,112 below it if that gives way.

Why I'm leaning cautiously constructive rather than outright bullish: the bounce held the round-number line, and the market still has the Fed meeting on October 27–28 ahead, which could move everything either way. That's also why I'm not sizing this like a sure thing — a headline either way could swamp the chart in minutes.

My invalidation is clear: a daily close back below $80,000, especially under that $79,200 low, would tell me the bounce failed and I'd drop the constructive view entirely. Until then, I'm watching $81,483 first — a clean break there, not just a wick, is what I'd need to see before getting excited.

Not financial advice.
