SILVER AT A CROSSROADS: BREAKDOWN OR REBOUND?

Silver is facing renewed selling pressure.
On October 22, spot silver (XAG/USD) traded around $56.1–56.3 per ounce after approaching $58 earlier this week.
Is the correction losing momentum, or is another decline ahead?

KEY PRICE LEVELS

Current snapshot: $56.1–56.3
Support zone: $55–56
Near-term resistance: $57.5–58
Broader resistance: $60

THREE POSSIBLE SCENARIOS

BULLISH

If buyers defend the $55–56 support zone and silver recovers above $58, upward momentum could begin rebuilding.

BEARISH

A sustained break below $55 would weaken the recovery scenario and increase the risk of further selling.

NEUTRAL

Silver could consolidate between support and resistance while investors reassess market conditions.

WHAT IS DRIVING SILVER?

Interest-rate expectations, US dollar movements and industrial demand all influence the precious metals market.
Higher yields may pressure non-yielding assets, while stronger industrial demand can support silver over longer periods.

WHY SHOULD CRYPTO TRADERS CARE?

Silver exposure is now available through perpetual futures on several major cryptocurrency exchanges.
However, spot silver and silver perpetual contracts are not identical.
Funding rates, liquidity, contract specifications and trading conditions can create meaningful price differences.

MY TAKE

The $55–56 area deserves close attention, but support is never guaranteed.
A recovery above $57.5–58 would be an encouraging sign, while a confirmed breakdown below $55 could signal continued weakness.

The next question is simple:

Is silver building a base, or preparing for another leg lower?
