BTC relative performance: smaller drawdowns than semiconductor stocks

An institutional market analysis reported on October 21 compares two selloffs. From June 22 to July 29, Bitcoin was roughly flat while the Nasdaq 100 fell about 10% and the semiconductor index, SOX, dropped approximately 29%. From October 2 through the report's observation window, Bitcoin declined around 3%, compared with roughly 4% for the Nasdaq 100 and 14% for SOX.

These selected periods show relative resilience, not proof that Bitcoin has permanently decoupled from technology shares. The comparison describes percentage price changes over specific windows; it does not measure fund flows or establish that the relationship will persist.
