$BTC is up +3.80% from the Oct 15 low at $79,800.90, now trading at $82,830.50 If you had longed it at the Oct 15 9:00 AM ET low with $100k at 10x, you'd be up +$37,964 right now Why it moved The ETF bid came back. US spot Bitcoin ETFs took in about $526.7 million on Oct 19, the strongest day since Sept 22, led by BlackRock's IBIT, Moneycontrol reported at 11:56 PM ET on Oct 20. Shorts paid for it: about $125 million liquidated in one hour, while open interest climbed to roughly $53.9 billion. The bigger thesis Buyers keep defending the same floor. Keith Alan of Material Indicators says the 50-day SMA near $81,570 has held on every test, while the 21-day SMA near $83,230 keeps capping price, Digital Today reported on Oct 21. Bulls also still need the quarterly open near $83,500. That is a squeeze between rising support and flat resistance. Big money is buying again while a hot PPI print keeps retail cautious. Tesla and Meta report on Oct 21, so risk appetite could drive the next push. What I'm watching next Above: $83,230, the 21-day SMA, then $83,440.70, the Oct 20 high, then $84,126.60, the Oct 14 top. Below: about $82,625, the 20-day EMA, then $82,300, then $81,570, the 50-day SMA, then the Oct 15 base at $79,800.90.
