FRANCE VOTES TO TAX CRYPTO-TO-STABLECOIN SWAPS AT 31.4% FROM 2027
🇫🇷 France’s National Assembly has narrowly approved a proposal to end tax deferral on certain crypto-to-stablecoin swaps.
Vote: 38–37, with 25 abstentions.
If enacted, the measure could make qualifying stablecoin swaps taxable from January 1, 2027, even without cashing out into euros.
IMPORTANT: This is NOT yet final law. Further legislative approval is required.
