📡 Market Update | Trends & Flows

BTC is hovering around $82K, ranging between roughly $78K support and $86K resistance. Nasdaq had a rough week (down over 4%), with AI and semis under pressure, and crypto is not getting a clean risk on bid from it.

👀 Flows:

Spot BTC ETFs: about $228M net outflows last week, after $681M the week before. Roughly $900M out over two weeks. October is now net negative.

Exchanges: net inflows of about 8.2K BTC over 7 days, mostly on retail heavy venues. Could point to more sell side supply.

Stablecoins: USDT around $183.5B, USDC around $72.6B, supply roughly flat. Dry powder seems to be sitting on the sidelines rather than leaving crypto.

Funding looks neutral, so leverage is not overheated for now.

👀 Trending:
✅ Perp DEX / HIP-3: PAPER got attention after its perp listing on Hyperliquid.

✅ RWA and tokenization: Ripple Prime RWA perps and DTCC's tokenization service keep the narrative alive.

✅ Stablecoin payments: Samsung Wallet rolling out USDC.

✅ Memes: PEPE bounced about 4% on renewed whale activity.

📌 Worth watching: about 35% of Deribit BTC options OI expires Oct 30, with max pain near $78K to $79K. Combined with 10Y yields around 5.1%, this could keep volatility elevated.

Flows are soft, but sidelined stablecoin supply keeps the door open either way. Narratives are rotating faster than majors, so position sizing matters.
