When vehicles can move beyond traditional roads, understanding their surroundings becomes increasingly important. Roads, buildings, infrastructure, traffic patterns, obstacles, and changes in the physical environment all provide valuable information. Autonomous vehicles, drones, robotics and future aerial mobility will all depend on reliable data about the world they operate in. The bigger picture isn't simply mapping where we are today. It's creating a decentralized layer of real world data that can evolve alongside the technologies changing how we move through the world. #Tesla is showing us that the definition of a vehicle can change.
