Charles Schwab has now fully opened direct $BTC and $ETH trading to all eligible U.S. retail clients, putting crypto access in front of roughly 40 million brokerage accounts and more than $13 trillion in client assets.
Schwab's crypto rollout began in May and has now reached all eligible retail clients, offering Bitcoin and Ethereum trading at a 0.75% fee.
Bitcoin and Ethereum can now sit alongside stocks and other investments inside one of America's largest traditional brokerage platforms.
Schwab has also started enabling crypto transfers, while Solana, Avalanche and Chainlink are expected to join the platform by the end of 2026.
That puts established crypto assets directly in front of a much wider traditional investor base and adds another major bridge between Wall Street and the digital-asset market.
