I've watched enough crypto cycles to become pretty skeptical whenever someone says they've found a better way to trade. But Nillions Covenants caught my attention.

Most traders know the feeling: you place an order, the market moves, and suddenly your carefully planned exit looks like it was sitting there waiting to be taken. I’m not saying every stop gets hunted, but public market data definitely changes how people behave.

What I find interesting about Covenants is that the actual instruction stays hidden until the condition is met. No keeper sitting on your order, no single person deciding when to execute. Dusk is now live on Ethereum mainnet, so this is something people can actually start using.

I’m still cautious. The network, committee and bounty aren’t invisible, and better privacy doesn’t magically fix liquidity or bad execution. I’ve seen plenty of clever ideas fail once real users arrive.

Still, something about this feels different enough to watch. If it works as intended, I’d probably seal a limit order first and see what happens.
