CZ: Has Solana still not learned its lesson in China?
⠀
Solana Accelerate China 2026 in Shanghai has been postponed. Organizers blamed venue issues, but people on the ground reported seeing Chinese 🇨🇳 police stationed at the site.
⠀
Just yesterday, CZ was praising Solana for doing things BNB hasn't managed to do yet. Now he's back with another jab:
⠀
"Sad. Seems like they really don't understand the policies here? But this isn't the first time, right? It happened once last year too."
⠀
Last year, another event, Solana Accelerate APAC in Shenzhen, was also ordered to shut down by local police.
⠀
China has long cracked down on crypto activity at home. Solana hosting and loudly promoting an event there is basically a direct challenge to the authorities...
