WHEN DOES MONEY STOP BEING MONEY?

At what point does money stop feeling like money when you’re trading?

Maybe it’s when you lose $100 and feel nothing, but losing another $10 makes you desperate to win it back.

When thousands of dollars become nothing more than green and red numbers on a screen.

When you stop thinking about what that money could buy, the bills it could pay, the people it could help, or the life it could improve.

When a profit feels too small to celebrate, but a loss feels too big to accept.

And slowly, without noticing, you stop trading money and start trading your emotions.

You chase losses. You increase your leverage. You hold positions you should have closed. You convince yourself that one more trade will fix everything.

Until you realize that the real cost wasn’t just the money you lost.

It was the peace of mind you traded away trying to get it back.

Money is still money, even when your screen makes it look like just a number.

Never become so desensitized to losing it that you forget what it took to earn it.

The goal isn’t to feel nothing when you trade.

The goal is to respect your money enough not to let your emotions decide what happens to it.

Sometimes, the most profitable trade is the one you choose not to take.
