$ETH fell 5.73% in Binance's rolling daily snapshot. A lower price alone does not make a trade safer.

The practical lesson is to size a position around the loss you can accept, not the discount from yesterday. First decide where your trade idea would be wrong. Then use the distance between entry and that exit level to work out position size.

A wider exit distance means a smaller position for the same planned loss. Moving the exit farther away without reducing size increases your exposure.

The downside risk: fast selling can push execution beyond your planned exit, making the actual loss larger.
