$BTW | 1H — LONG vs. SHORT Scenario
BTW is trading around 2.36 after a strong expansion from 1.64 to 2.75, followed by a sharp correction into 2.062. Buyers responded aggressively at the lows, but price is now approaching an important decision zone.
From a desk perspective, the broader H1 structure remains constructive, while 2.40–2.45 is the immediate supply that needs to be cleared before expecting another leg higher.
🟢 LONG SCENARIO
I would look for long exposure only if price breaks above 2.40–2.45 and shows acceptance above the level, ideally followed by a successful retest.
Upside objectives:
TP1: 2.55–2.60
TP2: 2.68–2.70
TP3: 2.75
Alternatively, a controlled pullback into 2.30–2.35 followed by buyer absorption and a strong reclaim could offer a cleaner long setup with better R:R.
🔴 SHORT SCENARIO
If 2.40–2.45 continues to reject price and BTW subsequently loses 2.30, the current recovery structure starts to weaken.
Downside objectives:
TP1: 2.20–2.22
TP2: 2.10–2.06
A confirmed breakdown and acceptance below 2.062 would invalidate the current bullish H1 thesis and shift the structure materially in favor of sellers.
DESK BIAS: Neutral → Bullish while above 2.30.
No interest in chasing longs directly into resistance, and no reason to short simply because price has already rallied.
Let the market confirm direction first, then deploy risk.
