U.S. CPI drops at 8:30 am ET, and this one could move both stocks and crypto
Expectations are roughly:
Headline CPI: +0.6% MoM / 3.6% YoY
Core CPI: +0.2% MoM / 2.5% YoY
Why it matters:
Cooler than expected → yields/dollar could ease → good for tech + crypto 📈
Around expectations → probably choppy, but manageable
Hotter than expected → more Fed hike pressure → yields up → risk assets under pressure 📉
BTC has been holding up better than alts lately, so I’ll be watching whether that resilience continues after the print.
