Evernorth Holdings ( ), a digital asset treasury company backed by Ripple, started trading on Nasdaq on October 12.

The stock initially climbed to $19.38, but buyers couldn't keep the momentum going. It later closed at $16.91, down 1.05%.

Despite the weaker finish, there are a few important details worth watching 👇

💰 473 million $XRP held in its treasury at the time of the merger.

🏦 Around $300 million in gross proceeds raised before transaction fees.

🌐 Backed by major names including Ripple, SBI Group, Pantera Capital, Kraken, and Arrington Capital.

But there's something important to understand.

Evernorth's stock and XRP are two different things. A drop in XRPN doesn't automatically mean will fall, just as a stock rally doesn't guarantee a rise in XRP's price.

Also, some of Evernorth's XRP came from investors who already owned the tokens. This means the listing doesn't necessarily represent fresh buying in the XRP market.

Now, the real question is whether Evernorth can turn its large XRP holdings into a successful long-term treasury strategy.

Its Nasdaq debut is just the first step. What matters most is how the company manages its holdings and builds its business from here.

👀 Do you think Evernorth will bring more institutional attention to XRP in the long run?
