🚨 XRP LEDGER BUG PATCHED — COULD IT HAVE CREATED XRP OUT OF THIN AIR? 👀

A serious vulnerability in the XRP Ledger has been disclosed — and the potential impact is raising eyebrows across the crypto community.

The bug involved an integer-overflow issue in the payment engine. Under certain conditions, an attacker could potentially receive more XRP than they actually paid for.

⚠️ Why does this matter?

XRP has a fixed maximum supply of 100 billion. A vulnerability capable of bypassing the ledger’s normal accounting rules could have created a serious threat to confidence in the network.

✅ The good news:
The issue was patched in xrpld v3.4.1, and developers reported no evidence that it was exploited on public networks.

A second Batch-transaction vulnerability was also addressed.

🔥 My take:
The most important part isn't simply that a bug existed — it's how quickly the ecosystem detected, coordinated, and patched the problem.

But one question remains:

👉 Does this rapid response make you MORE confident in XRP, or does the discovery of such a vulnerability make you MORE cautious?
