⚠️ $BTC Weekend Trading: Why I Avoid Saturday and Sunday
Let’s start with the daily timeframe. The current candle is very small, and I’ve marked the weekend period with a vertical line.
🔹 1H Timeframe: Price is stuck between two order blocks, showing consolidation without a clear direction.
🔹 1M Timeframe: When we move to the 1-minute chart, price is highly consolidated. I can’t find a valid FVG or order-block setup according to my trading strategy.
📉 Why I Avoid Weekend Trading
BTC is correlated with the stock market to some extent, but traditional stock markets are closed on Saturday and Sunday. During these days, price can make sudden pumps and dumps that attract retail traders into traps.
Sometimes, a coin pumps or dumps just to attract traders into positions before reversing. This is why I believe weekend trading can be risky, especially when there is no clear setup.
I’m sure many of you have made profits during the week or throughout the month, only to lose some of them by trading on Saturday and Sunday.
✅ My Advice: If you’ve already made good profits during the week, protect them. Don’t feel the need to trade every day. Wait for better market conditions and clear setups.
💬 Do you agree? Have weekends ever taken away the profits you made during the week?
