Stablecoins Are Gaining Attention Across Asia-Pacific, But There’s a Catch.

According to a recent Visa study, nearly half of consumers across Asia-Pacific are considering using stablecoins within the next five years.

However, another finding stands out: 41% of respondents believe stablecoins always increase in value.

That highlights an important gap between growing interest and actual understanding.

Stablecoins are generally designed to maintain a stable value, often by tracking a currency such as the US dollar. They are not designed to deliver guaranteed price growth, and their value can sometimes fall below their intended peg.

As digital payments continue to evolve, education will be just as important as adoption.

Understanding what you hold matters more than simply following the trend.
