FACT: Binance says it has completed the Stargate (STG) merge into LayerZero (ZRO) at 1 STG = 0.08634 ZRO, per its Oct 7, 2026 notice. Old STG deposits and withdrawals are no longer supported on Binance.
FACT: For STG in self-custody, LayerZero's Sept 15, 2026 update says conversion to ZRO stays available until Dec 15, 2026 and won't be supported after that. Stargate's terms say conversions are irreversible and submitted STG is destroyed.
INTERPRETATION: The ratio was fixed in the Aug 2025 acquisition proposal approved by Stargate governance and isn't adjusted for market moves, so the value received depends on ZRO's price at conversion, not the 2025 valuation.
