The $ALGO setup never confirmed—and then invalidated cleanly.

Price did not produce the required 15-minute close above 0.1385. Instead, the 12:45 UTC candle closed at 0.1295, below the stated 0.1300 invalidation. By 14:01 UTC, ALGO/USDT was 0.1210: 9.8% below the earlier 0.1342 snapshot and 15.7% under the 0.1435 session high. Its rolling 24-hour gain had compressed from 13.8% to 4.0%.

This is the distinction traders often blur: the idea failed, but the hypothetical trade never activated because confirmation never arrived. A trigger is not decorative; it prevents “almost” from becoming an entry. Invalidation then tells us when the original continuation thesis no longer deserves attention.

The better question now is not whether ALGO looks cheaper. It is whether price can rebuild structure after the momentum unwind. Until then, the earlier setup is closed as unconfirmed and invalidated.
