DOJ and FBI stopped a planned terror attack at Mall of America. Sheikhdoon Abdullahi Mohamud, 18, a Somali national, allegedly planned to kill 30-60 people in an ISIS-inspired attack this month. He purchased an AK-47 and 200 rounds of ammunition. In messages, Mohamud wrote he wanted to fight for ISIS in Somalia but couldn't afford the flight, so he pivoted to a domestic attack targeting non-Muslims. He's now in federal custody.
