🚨 TOKENIZED U.S. SECURITIES ARE EXPANDING ON BINANCE SPOT
Today Binance is adding four new bStocks pairs:
• JPMB/USDT → JPMorgan Chase
• LLYB/USDT → Eli Lilly
• SECZB/USDT → Securitize
• USDEB/USDT → StablecoinX
⏰ Trading opens 12:00 UTC today.
Binance says users can also convert direct stock holdings into corresponding bStocks 1:1 with zero conversion fees, while Convert support follows within one hour of the Spot listing.
But here’s the part Muslim investors shouldn’t overlook:
⚠️ A tokenized security is not automatically identical to owning the underlying share.
Binance explicitly states that bStocks “are not stocks or shares” and do not provide direct ownership of shares in the underlying listed company.
So Shariah research shouldn’t stop at:
“Is the company Shariah-compliant?”
You also need to understand:
→ What exactly does the token represent?
→ What ownership/right does the holder receive?
→ How does redemption work?
→ What contracts sit between the token and underlying security?
→ Are you using Spot, or adding Margin/leverage on top?
I’m not declaring JPMB, LLYB, SECZB or USDEB halal or haram.
📌 Same price exposure does not necessarily mean the same financial contract.
Would you like a full Tokenized Stocks vs Real Stocks breakdown for Muslim investors?
