Bitcoin is showing renewed strength as the cryptocurrency market starts October with positive momentum. BTC is currently trading around $86,000, gaining more than 1% today after recovering from recent weakness.

One of the key factors supporting Bitcoin is growing institutional demand. U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded strong net inflows in September, suggesting that investors remain interested in gaining exposure to the leading cryptocurrency.

Meanwhile, weaker U.S. jobs data has reduced expectations of aggressive interest-rate moves, which could benefit risk assets such as Bitcoin. Citi has also raised its 12-month Bitcoin price target to $113,000, adding to the bullish sentiment.

However, Bitcoin still faces important resistance around the $87,000–$87,500 area. A strong break above this zone could increase the possibility of a move toward $90,000.

For now, Bitcoin remains bullish but volatile, and traders are closely watching whether BTC can reclaim higher levels.
