$ETH Pressing $2,700: $3,000 or $2,492 in October? ETH trades near 2,706, down about 0.8% on the day. It is testing a rising trendline around 2,700 that has capped price since the September 22 high near 2,800. Shorts took most of the damage: 24.72 million of 31.70 million in 24-hour liquidations. The first support is the 20-day EMA at $2,650. Below that, the 50-day sits at $2,492, then the 100-day at $2,321. RSI is around 61, so momentum is not stretched yet. A daily close above the $2,700 trendline, then a push through $2,800, would put $3,000 in range. Lose $2,650 and the path opens toward $2,492. #ETF flows cooled. US spot ETH funds saw 138 million in net outflows the week ending October 2, after $690 million of inflows the week before. Cumulative net inflows still sit near $13.8 billion, with total assets around $17.5 billion. Open interest barely moved at $34.1 billion. Binance shows about 2.5 long accounts for every short, so positioning is still skewed long. The October 28 Fed decision is the later-month event that could set the tone if price is still stuck between $2,650 and $2,800. #Altcoin Season# #Macro Insights#
