Goldman Sachs says investors may find several buying opportunities before companies report their third-quarter earnings. The bank highlighted Disney, UPS, Omnicom, Nu Holdings, and Baker Hughes among its buy-rated stocks. Goldman analyst Michael Ng lowered Disney’s price target from $144 to $140, but still expects the company to grow earnings over several years. Baker Hughes was upgraded back to a buy rating after completing its acquisition of Chart Industries. Nu Holdings could benefit from expanding into U.S. consumer credit. UPS may gain after Amazon’s shipping volume reduction ends. Omnicom could benefit from stronger media growth and its Q3 results on October 20.
