🇺🇸🇾🇪 The last time this happened, a war started days later: Trump's top security team met in secret at Camp David on Iran and Yemen
Three US officials told Axios that JD Vance chaired hours of talks on Friday with Rubio, Hegseth, Witkoff, CIA chief John Ratcliffe and Joint Chiefs Chairman Dan Caine, and one said decisions were made or at least deeply discussed.
Asked about his next move while they met, Trump teased it:
"If I told you, you would have a major story. But you will see."
Whatever was settled up there will be paid for by exhausted troops already on back-to-back deployments and voters who mostly say this war wasn't worth it, and FIVE WEEKS before an election, they deserve more than "you will see."
