BTC broke above $86,000 today. Up nearly 3% in 24 hours. ETH at $2,728. Total market cap crossed $2.99 trillion. Fear & Greed Index at 72 — Greed.

The move came after softer Fed comments eased rate-hike fears. September jobs data is due later today, and the market is positioning ahead of it.

But the real story is what happened to QNT.

Quant dropped 23.84% in 24 hours — from around $300 to $228. At one point it fell 8.66% in a single hour. Over $98 million in volume traded on the way down. Total market cap dropped to $2.76 billion.

QNT was one of the strongest performers just days ago. Now it's the biggest loser among top-100 coins. That's what happens when a rally gets crowded. When positioning gets one-sided, the unwind is violent.

Aave is the top gainer among large caps, up 8.37%. PEPE and other DeFi names are following.

What I'm watching: can BTC hold $85K into the jobs report? And does QNT find support at $220, or does the unwind continue?
