5 Things Every Beginner Should Know Before Buying Crypto

If you’re new to crypto, don’t rush to buy coins just because you see people talking about them.

Here are 5 things I wish every beginner knew 👇

1️⃣ Understand what you’re buying.
Bitcoin, Ethereum, stablecoins, and other crypto assets don’t all serve the same purpose. Learn what a project actually does before putting your money into it.

2️⃣ Don’t invest money you can’t afford to lose.
Crypto prices can move quickly in both directions. A coin going up today doesn’t mean it will keep going up tomorrow.

3️⃣ Learn the difference between Spot, Earn & Futures.
• Spot: You buy/sell the actual crypto asset.
• Earn: You may earn rewards by putting eligible assets into certain Binance products.
• Futures: You speculate on price movements and can involve leverage, which can greatly increase losses.

4️⃣ Protect your account. 🔐
Use a strong, unique password, enable 2FA, and never give anyone your password, verification codes, or recovery information.

5️⃣ Don’t follow hype blindly. 🚨
Someone saying “BUY NOW 🚀🚀🚀” isn’t the same as having good research. Check the facts yourself and understand the risks.

The goal isn’t to become rich overnight. The goal is to understand what you’re doing before you put your money at risk.
