$HYPE has another problem nobody should ignore. The team has reportedly been selling around 2.3 billion RMB worth of tokens through OTC deals to institutions at a discount.
And that changes the picture for me.
Those institutions didn’t buy at market price. They got discounted supply, which means they can potentially send that inventory back into the market whenever they decide to take profit.
So even if the chart looks strong, there’s still a huge amount of supply sitting in the hands of buyers who may have an easy exit.
The real pressure may not come from today’s sellers.
It could come from those discounted tokens waiting to hit the market.
