BTC is holding around $83,500 today. It briefly pushed to $85,500 on a softer-than-expected core PCE reading, then faded back. ETH sits near $2,690. Fear & Greed Index is at 74 — Greed.

But here's what I'm actually watching: the structure of this market is changing.

Yesterday, NFP was up 65.8%. Today, ALEO is up 30.89% and NIGHT gained 22.47%. These are single-coin moves, not sector rotation. Meanwhile, AVAX is down 4.97%. ICP's momentum from earlier in the week has cooled.

Two weeks ago, we saw entire sectors moving together — DeFi tokens all rising, privacy coins all bidding. Now it's individual stories. ALEO is an Alpha listing. NIGHT has its own catalyst. They're not connected.

That's a different market phase. Concentrated moves in specific coins rather than broad sector rotation. It means you have to do more work to find the story — but it also means less noise to filter through.

The macro backdrop is shifting too. Core PCE came in below expectations, and Goldman Sachs pushed its Fed rate-hike forecast from October to December. October hike odds dropped from 45% to 39%. That's a tailwind, but BTC isn't breaking out yet.
