☠️ Hackers were inside Bitget’s infrastructure for at least 25 days before stealing $388,000,000 — according to SlowMist, the first trace of the breach appeared as early as August 31 through a vulnerability in a third-party security service.

Private keys were not stolen — the attackers obtained internal credentials and forced the system to approve fake withdrawals on its own.

Part of the stolen funds was then routed through CoW Protocol, Chainflip, and other cross-chain services.
