$2Z : New Market Data Integration Ahead of a Major Token Unlock

DoubleZero has announced another expansion of its market-data infrastructure.

On September 29, the project introduced Phoenix perpetual futures data feeds through DoubleZero Edge.

The integration allows professional trading firms to access market information from Phoenix, Hyperliquid and Kalshi through a shared infrastructure connection.

DoubleZero uses dedicated fiber networks to reduce communication latency for blockchain infrastructure and financial market participants.

But there is also an important supply event approaching.

Approximately 1.6 billion $2Z tokens are scheduled to unlock on October 2, according to published vesting schedules.

That represents a substantial increase in potentially transferable token supply relative to current circulation.

An unlock does not automatically mean recipients will sell their tokens.

For $2Z , two separate developments deserve attention:

Network adoption and potential revenue from professional market-data services.

The effect of newly unlocked tokens on circulating supply and market liquidity.

Useful metrics include paying customers, network utilization, trading volume, exchange inflows and actual token transfers following the unlock.

Infrastructure expansion: confirmed.

October 2 unlock: scheduled.

Its impact on market prices: not yet established.
