SCAM ALERT: Fake GIWA Mainnet Drains $2M in $ETH
Scammers just pulled off a brutal fake Layer 2 play targeting the upcoming GIWA mainnet by Upbit.
Here's what went down:
$ETH bridge scam using GIWA's Chain ID 9134
1,335+ wallets got rekt
767.65 $ETH deposited
766.25 $ETH ($2.08M) drained
The real @GIWA_by_Upbit mainnet HASN'T launched yet. Team warned multiple times but degens still aped in.
DYORSWAP already compensated victims with 200+ $ETH from their own treasury while hunting the attackers.
Lesson: Stop trusting RPCs and bridges just because they look official. Verify EVERYTHING through official channels or get rekt.
