🚨 Hackers Move $83M in Stolen Bitget XRP — $75M Still Untouchable 🚨💸

The Bitget hack is unfolding fast.

Hackers behind the exchange attack have moved approximately $83 million worth of stolen XRP from three holding wallets.

Around $75 million remains in accounts that cannot be frozen under the XRP Ledger’s current rules.

Key details:
• Nearly 103 million XRP were stolen from Bitget on Thursday and spread across five accounts

• By Saturday, two accounts that held 20 million XRP each had been almost fully drained (down to ~23 and ~55 tokens)

• A third account’s balance dropped to about 5.8 million XRP

Circle and Tether have frozen roughly $320,000 in stablecoins linked to the attack, but the bulk of the XRP remains mobile.
XRP was trading around $1.54 on Saturday — down about 4% in 24 hours but still up roughly 9% on the week.

Large-scale movement of stolen funds often increases short-term volatility and keeps security concerns in the spotlight. The fact that a significant portion cannot be frozen highlights ongoing challenges with asset recovery on certain networks.

Will this pressure weigh on XRP in the near term, or is the market already looking past the news?
