Solana’s Alpenglow consensus upgrade has now reached both public testnet and devnet.
⚡ The upgrade targets transaction finality of around 100–150 milliseconds, compared with roughly 12.8 seconds under the current system.
The upgrade is NOT live on Solana mainnet yet. Developers and validators are still testing it before any mainnet activation.
