My view on $FTT right now: cautious — not chasing
$FTT is back in Square's spotlight — the #SBFSeeksPresidentialPardonFTTJumpsOver50Percent topic is pulling ~2.5M views. So I ran it through the full check.
The setup:
FTT trades near $0.256 — up ~28% on the week but fading ~3–4% today (Finnhub, TradingView, changehero all in the same area). It sits ~99.7% below its $85 ATH, and the exchange behind it no longer exists.
The pardon filing driving this buzz was submitted in June 2026. Since then the door has shut: Trump and the White House have repeatedly refused clemency, and the US Senate unanimously passed a resolution opposing it (July). Prediction markets price a pardon at ~8%.
Narrative check:
The crowd is trading a three-month-old headline as if it were breaking news — but the price already gave back most of the June spike, and the June +50% move peaked near $0.35, well above here. Hype is running ahead of a dead-end catalyst.
My view:
A ghost asset with no exchange, no utility, running on recycled news is speculation, not a thesis. Fading momentum plus a politically closed door keeps me cautious — 25/55/20 bull/bear/neutral.
