QI +132.3% IN A SESSION WITH 80% GREEN PAIRS — TIDE OR COIN STORY?
$QI $PHA $ARK
Honestly, I used to judge how hot the market was by feel; now I judge it by numbers.
Today QI is +132.3% on 28M USDT of volume. Looking at that alone, the reflex for most readers — mine included, a few months ago — is to open a position first and read about it later.
But set it next to the wider picture and the story changes: 116 of 145 USDT pairs are up, or 80% — the whole board is green. Total 24h volume is 9.6B USDT.
So most of this move is the tide rather than any single coin as its own story. The question worth asking is not "why is this one running" but "which ones are still standing when the tide goes out".
What I learned, and paid to learn: the number on ONE coin means nothing without the breadth of the whole session next to it. QI is worth watching today — but worth watching and worth trading are two different things.
What I do differently now: before touching anything that is running, I ask three questions. Where is this volume coming from, or is it one thin book pushing the price? If I get in now, who is selling to me, and what do they know? And if I am wrong, where do I get out — answered in advance, not while the candle is red.
Those three questions have not made me win more often. They have made me lose less, and in this game those two things end up being the same result.
The other two movers right now: PHA +62.6% · ARK +26.7%
Which camp are you in — ride the momentum, or wait for it to cool off? Tell me in the comments.
