The next major opportunity should come after price forms a multi-month range and deviates below the range lows.

An AI agent might execute thousands of small transactions without human intervention. That creates demand for programmable payments, low transaction fees and continuous settlement. If adoption scales, stablecoin issuers could benefit from greater circulation, while blockchain networks compete for transaction volume and payment infrastructure.
But there's a crucial distinction: billions in stablecoin payments don't automatically translate into billions in demand for native tokens. Value capture depends on transaction fees, network economics and whether applications actually use public blockchains.
The next metric to watch is autonomous transaction volume: how much economic activity AI agents generate without a human initiating each payment.

What Is Bitcoin (BTC)?
