Crypto exchange Bitget confirmed unauthorized transfers of ~$351.6M from its hot & warm wallets on Sept 24 at 18:31 UTC.
CEO Gracy Chen says:
- Cold wallets are SAFE
- Withdrawals temporarily paused
- Deposits & trading still online
- Loss will be covered by $464M User Protection Fund
Stolen assets: ETH, BNB, AVAX, XAUT, USDT, USDC
On-chain data shows attacker swapped stablecoins to ETH after draining.
This follows the $320M Liquid Network exploit earlier this month — September is becoming brutal for CEX security.
