My view on $ETC right now: cautiously bullish
The setup:
$ETC trades near $10.08 — up ~12% in 24h and ~35% over 7 days, with 24h volume at ~$225M (+74% vs the prior day).
The move is being driven by rotation into legacy proof-of-work L1s plus ETC's 2026 "Fifthening" (its fifth block-reward reduction) narrative.
Narrative check:
The crowd is euphoric (80% bullish sentiment), but most of this week's move already happened — and one leg saw an ~11% intraday shakeout.
My view:
Rotation + the Fifthening story support more upside, but +35% in 7 days with positive perpetual funding raises squeeze risk. I'm 50/30/20 bull/bear/neutral.
