🔴 TODAY — September 24
1. Bitcoin is pulling back
Bitcoin is around ₹80.8 lakh ($86K-ish) in Indian market data, down about 1.8% over 24 hours. Ethereum is around ₹2.57 lakh, down about 2.4%. XRP is around ₹143, down about 4.7%, while Solana is around ₹11,000, down about 2.9%.
The Economic Times
The pullback follows Bitcoin's recent strong rally toward $87K. Rising U.S. Treasury yields and renewed concerns around interest rates have been cited as pressure on risk assets, including crypto.

2. But institutional demand has been strong
This is an important part of today's story.
U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded approximately $999 million of net inflows on September 21, their strongest single-day inflow in about 11 months. The previous several trading sessions also brought substantial inflows.
The Economic Times
So the market has two forces at the same time:
Positive: strong ETF/institutional demand
Negative: profit-taking + higher yields + macro uncertainty
That's why prices can move sharply in either direction.
3. ETH and altcoins are weaker today

⚠️ TOMORROW — September 25
The biggest crypto event to watch is the Bitcoin options expiry.
Approximately 182,000 BTC worth of options, valued around $15.6 billion, are scheduled to expire on Friday. There are substantially more calls than puts in the open contracts.

Why does this matter?
Large options expiries can increase market volatility because traders and market makers adjust or close positions.
So tomorrow you could see:
BTC rises → shorts may be forced to close → additional buying can occur.
BTC falls → leveraged long positions may be liquidated → selling can accelerate.
This doesn't mean either outcome is guaranteed.
🎯 Important BTC levels
The market is watching the region around $86K–$90K after Bitcoin's recent rally. The recent ETF-driven move took BTC toward $86K–$87K, while analysts are watching the higher resistance area around $89K–$90K.
The Economic Times +1
For tomorrow, I'd pay particular attention to:
$90K: major upside area to watch
$86K: current/recent trading area
$80K: important psychological level
$76K: notable options-related level; Deribit data puts the options' "max pain" around this level, although max pain is not a price prediction.

The European Central Bank and EU national central banks have proposed changes to how stablecoin reserves are handled under the EU's MiCA framework. They argue that requiring stablecoin issuers to keep a fixed share of reserves in bank deposits could create financial-stability risks and have suggested alternatives involving short-maturity assets
