$BTC and $ETH just reminded everyone how quickly crypto sentiment can change.
Bitcoin briefly crossed $87K while ETH moved above $2,800, with softer oil prices, easing Treasury yields and significant short covering helping fuel the move. Bitcoin has also benefited from strong recent ETF inflows, adding another layer to the recovery.
But I’m more interested in what happens after the leverage clears.
Short covering can accelerate a rally, but sustainable moves usually need consistent spot demand behind them.
